Hi there! My name is Dani and I am currently Playing Mom to 6 year old Ryan, 3 year old Alexa and new baby Kaia. I also play wife to Cory and I’m sure you’ll get to know more than you bargained for about us via this blog.
Let’s begin with a little ice-breaker:
4 Things You Never Wanted To Know About Me
1. I am an only child. I always wanted an older sister AND a younger one – one to teach me how to do everything and one who would then look up to me. It didn’t happen. That’s why I enjoy Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Probably why I didn’t know to pluck my eyebrows until college, either….
2. I still suck my thumb. (Yes, I’m serious. No, I don’t do it in public or in front of the kids. Yes, Cory knows – no offense, but why would I let you in on the secret before him?) Please wipe that horrified look off of your face. It’s a better addiction than say… crack, right?
3. Nobody can pronounce my name properly. It’s Dani – not pronounced “Danny” or “Donny”. If you have a second, I can teach you how to do it! Say ‘apple’. Now put a ‘D’ on the front – ‘dapple’. Good! Now take that first syllable and add ‘ni’ (like knee) – ‘Da-ni’. Excellent, I like you already! Just try saying it without doing that thing with your neck. You know what I’m talking about.
4. I am a die-hard Phillies baseball fan. No, I don’t just like guys in uniform (well, actually I do), I love the game. LOVE IT. As in “I’d rather be at a Phillies game than (insert almost anything here).”
I could go on and on about myself (yes, I am THAT fascinating), but I’ll save that for the actual blog. Also, 4 is my favorite number so I had to stop there.
